Blessing 29- Isaiah 30:18

Isaiah 30:18
Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!

Have you been suffering for a long time regarding a particular problem in your life? This verse gives us hope that our God, who is a God of justice, blesses those who wait patiently for him. Waiting is seldom easy, but it certainly does bring results. The longer the wait, the more we tend to lose our patience. We grumble, we fight and we do silly things because the frustration is intense.
The Bible says, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:7,
The time factor is not mentioned here and that often frustrates believers. Of course the promise is valid now as it was when it was said originally. But “when dear Lord?” ask some.

And the answer is “In God’s perfect time.” The Bible says, “We count those blessed who endured. You have heard of the endurance of Job and have seen the outcome of the Lord's dealings that the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful. (James 5:11)
